So this was my first real date. I mean I have been on a "date" but it was with all of my friends so that it felt more like a bunch of friends hanging out and I didn't have to worry about the conversation dying. So basically what I'm saying is that I have never been on a date where it was just me and a guy. When I told him that he was like what?!?! and decided that he was going to make the date super awesome. We went for a walk on a trail behind the park just because it was a beautiful day. The trail wound up to where we had a great view of the red mountains. It was gorgeous, quiet and calm. I loved it. Then we went to dinner of course. We went to Chili's and one of my previous roommates was working that night. She came up to our table and chatted with us for a couple minutes. And after that we saw Wreck-It Ralph. It was such a cute movie!!!
Some time later (as in multiple days passed), I had been hanging at his place again as I had done for the past bit, as he was walking me to my room he said that since that I hang at his place a lot and that we both really like each other that we should take on the title of boyfriend and girlfriend. So that's what we are now.
He offered to drive me home for spring break because he lived in a city that is about 20 minutes away from where I live. Before I actually went home I went to his place to meet his parents. I was pretty nervous, but it turned out really fun. His parents both really like me. We hung out a couple times during the break. I learned how to play a nerdy game called risk. We saw Oz the Great and Powerful and we went to the aquarium.
Last week a group of us wanted to go swimming at the school gym but when we get there we found our that the kids form the science fair were going to swim and there were a lot of them how we decided to play volleyball instead. I kept getting hit by the volleyball and I had to quickly dodge of few of the hits because the would have been super painful. A couple of the boys felt bad when it was them that had hit the ball. We did manage to go swimming acouple days ago though and that was fun.
A few days ago my asthma decided to be mean to me and affected both my lungs so that it was hard to breathe because I was in soooo much pain. This happened while I was at my boyfriend's place and it happened for no good reason. I was curled up in a ball of pain not wanting to move at all. My boyfriend sat next to me with his arm around me. I rested my head on him and every time I cringed in pain I could tell that he felt bad for me.
So life for me has been a little crazy for the past little while but still fun. I hope you have had a fun time too!
p.s. I think I forgot to mention my first kiss with him. After he walked me to my room one day, he hugged me and went to kiss my cheek, and being the idiot that I am I kinda leaned forward and he ended up half kissing my lips. But then he kissed me for real on the lips and told me he was trying to kiss my cheek. And as you can guess I felt a bit awkward.
